Apollonia was raised in Elizabeth, NJ and had one heck of a childhood. When she wasn’t playing with her brothers, she would lock herself away in her room to write and play with her dolls. She started writing at a very young age. Apollonia had a vivid imagination and wrote about everything, from her life experiences to childhood tales. When she wasn’t writing she was spending time with family or watching movies. Movies helped fuel her imagination and helped with her writing abilities. Her favorite movie is named “Yesterday” and it is about an African woman that contracted aids from her husband and lived to see her daughter start school. Her story was inspiring and showed how people can overcome any obstacles that come their way.
As a woman of God she takes on the responsibility of doing right by herself, her family, and doing right by others. Managing her business and writing books take up a lot of her time. So when she has a moment to breathe, she does travel. One of her favorite places to go is the beach. She can get lost in thought by the staring at the motion of the waves. It helps to clear her mind. Apollonia is a simple gal, and lives a simple life. She prays that those of you who read her books are able to gain knowledge or even enjoy a few heartfelt moments, as she takes you through a whirlwind of different tales and truths.
